Visits to Alaska national parks up 2 percent in 2011

Glacier Bay National Park and Klondike Gold Rush and Sitka national historic parks are in southeast Alaska and are popular stops for cruise ship passengers. Over 10 years, the most visits to Alaska parks were in 2007 with 2.63 million.
